Imagine a Gizmo that allows you to make free calls anywhere in the world, stores all your data and while you are miles away from your coaching class or college helps you to listen to your professor real time.

The two AHmedabad's techie made the 'dream gadget' a reality and that too for just RS 5000. Developed by Techies Hardik and Kushal Sanghvi, the gadget called "Ultra mobile personal computer (UMPC)", along with the few innovations of the duo, has made them nominees at the WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM (WEF), an independent international organisation that engages leaders in partnerships to shape global, regional and industry agendas.

"It is simply amazing to be chosen as WEF's technology Pioneer candidate for the class of 2010. More so because past recipients of this recognition includes bigwigs like Google and Dr. Reddy's laboratories" - Says Hardik, and electronic and communication engineer from DDIT Nadiad (a place 40km away from ahmedabad) who left his Fat salaried job in MNC in US and started his own company with Kushal Sanghvi in 2003.

Though UPMC looks like a phone, with it you can do a lot more .... says Hardik, who is now talking to many IT giants and plans to soon launch their UMPC in the indian market and is also in the process of patenting the technology. The Duo has also deveoped various video communicating platforms, which they claim will revolutionize the way we see the videos on the web.
