Swine Flu is a viral infection caused by new strain of influenza virus called H1N1. The new H1N1 has capability to spread from human-to-human. This virus is referred by WHO as "pandemic influenza A (H1N1)". Symptoms are very similar to flu and spreads in manner similar to regular flu. Most people have no or little immunity and, therefore, this virus could cause more infections than are seen with seasonal flu. If infected people cough or sneeze, the infected droplets get on their hands, drop onto surfaces, or are dispersed into the air. A healthy person can come in contact with such dispersed virus and become infected. With better travel means available today, this virus has spread rapidly all over the world to become a global pandemic.
